Sundowner offers a marvellous opportunity for your interstate or international guests to meet and break the ice prior to your wedding and help give a relaxed feel to your wedding day. Our scheduled sunset cruise is ideal for a bridal party catch-up, or charter the whole boat for up to 48 guests.

Sundowner is a wonderful venue for small weddings, whether it be at sunrise or sunset, Sundowner provides an intimate and relaxed option.
Beach Pick up or Drop off
If you are getting married at Boathaven Beach, why not make that grand entrance and arrive by boat. We can pick up all your guests from the beach and take them on a cruise after the ceremony and before your reception. Perfect if you want to occupy your guests while you are getting your photos taken.
Reception
Whether you are married on the beach or on the boat, following on with your reception on Sundowner is the perfect choice for smaller cocktail style weddings.
Farewell Brunch
Say good bye to your guests with a simple yet unique brunch on board Sundowner. A great relaxed option, this is an experience your guests will truly remember.
After Party
Many of the venues in Airlie Beach have noise curfews and generally close from 10pm. If you don’t want your wedding to end there, charter Sundowner for a wedding after party and a dance to our resident DJ.
Theming
Sundowner can be themed to suit your wedding colours – from elegant to extravagant. With its natural, rustic timber look, you can hire a stylist to add personalised finishing touches, and Sundowner can be what you always imagined your wedding to be.
