Frequently Asked Questions

If we have not covered something you need to know about, please do not hesitate to contact us for details.

What are the current Covid guidelines and vaccination requirements?

From 14th April 2022, the vaccination mandate has been lifted and guests no longer need to be vaccinated to travel with us from this date.

You can find out the latest information regarding restrictions and requirements on our dedicated page here.

Can I bring my own drinks?

No. As we are a fully licensed venue, we do not allow BYO ‘bring your own’. You will see on our beverage menu pages our drinks are reasonably priced, so we do hope you come on board and enjoy.

Cash or card?

We love cash, but we do take both. You can pay for your drinks on Sundowner, or any balance owing for your tickets, with either cash or card. Please note a small surcharge applies to all card transactions.

Catering

For private charters, we are happy for you to bring your own food or be catered for by your preferred caterer.

Please see our Groups & Private Charters page for our recommendations on local caterers.

Please note we do not have facilities on board for cooking or storing food in fridges. Chilled or hot food can be stored in thermal containers provided by the caterer.

Can I wear high heels?

Yes! Sundowner is a flat platform with no ropes or pulleys to trip over, so no need for flats if you’re a heels kind of girl.

What nibbles are served?

Nibbles consist of a shared platter of antipasto, dips and crackers. Nibbles are complimentary and not offered as a meal. Typical inclusions are: Ritz crackers, dairy-based french onion dip, gluten free pork kabana, carrot and celery sticks, olives and sun-dried tomatoes. These are served as a single platter, which is shared amongst all guests.

Can I smoke/vape on board?

Sundowner is moderately accessible, with assistance, as there is no boarding ramp, and a step up is required. There is room on board for a limited number of prams or wheelchairs. The bathroom is not an accessible bathroom. If you do have access requirements, please let us know prior to booking, so we can work out how to look after you best.

We do not have a change table on board.

Infants do not need to wear a life jacket on Sundowner, and we do not carry infant sized jackets for general use. If you are concerned, please discuss with our team prior to arrival.
